Gordon combines his comedy and whisky expertise to captivate
audiences across Europe and North America. After graduating from Edinburgh University, he performed live comedy and managed a comedy club in Edinburgh. His media career
included writing for radio and kids TV, and presenting on various BBC
radio stations.
In 2015, Gordon joined Glengoyne as a tour guide, bringing his media
skills to Ian Macleod Distillers. By 2017, he was touring the UK with his
humorous whisky history show, "Dallas Drams and Distillation." In
2018. Gordon became Ian Macleod’s first Experiential Whisky Ambassador
in 2019, sharing captivating stories about their whisky portfolio. He
wrote and performed the Glengoyne Storytelling Experience in 2020,
which transitioned online during the pandemic and resumed as a
walking tour in 2023. From 2021 to 2025, Gordon has travelled across
Europe and North America, promoting Ian Macleod’s whiskies.
Records show that in 1897, their founders secured the first shipment of sherry casks from the finest bodegas in Spain.
